Favignana is one of the most beautiful places I have been. It is off the coast of Trapani, Sicily and it’s most definitely worth the visit if you are in the area.
I went to Favignana back in May and I have only got around to writing about it now. Bad blogger, I know!
It is the perfect day trip from Trapani. There are several ferries a day to the island. I went with Ustica lines to Favignana. Times and prices vary depending on the time of year.
Tip: Favignana gets very busy come summer, so May, early June or September is a better time to go if you still want warm weather and less crowds.
Well I am just going to let the photos speak for themselves and hopefully convince you to go.
Yes that is ricotta in a cornetto! Sicily has an amazing talent of making sweet things with sweet ricotta. Try it, it will change your life for the better!
Tip: The best way to see the island is to hire a bike to cycle around. There are many hidden beaches that you would never get to see if you don’t.
Have the photos convinced you?
