Word of the week: Ojalá

For those of you who have been reading my blog for a while, you probably remember my Italian word of the week posts. Now that I am settled in Madrid I am brining back word of the week but Spanish instead of Italian.

What’s the word? Ojalá

What does it mean? Let’s hope/I hope/hopefully

Why is it my word of the week? Since 2010 it’s been my favourite when I went to the restaurant called ojalá

Some useful phrases

Ojalá que no – I hope not

Ojalá que Sí – I hope so

¡ojalá pudiera! – I wish I could!

Hasta luego!
