Why should you visit Cefalù, Sicily?

Untitled design (1)

Over the Easter holidays I was in Sicily (again). I just love Sicily! In fact in August I will be going again, which will be my fourth time in 10 months.

So back in April I took a day trip to Cefalù with the bf. It’s an easy day trip from Palermo. It only takes about an hour and costs €5.15 each way. Check out the tren Italia website for the times.

Take a stroll through the pretty streets.

Cefalù is a pretty seaside town that you should visit if you are in the area. It has a beautiful beach which is perfect in sunbathing season!

Take a walk along the beach.

Stay and watch the sunset.

Go and see the cathedral.

Have a granita. Try the gelsi (mulberry) flavour, it’s amazing!

So if you are taking a trip to Sicily make a stop in Cefalù and fall in love with its beauty!

Have you ever been to Cefalù or visited Sicily?
