Word of the week: di nuovo

It’s Wednesday, which means another word of the week, di nuovo!

The word: di nuovo

What does it mean? It can mean: again, anew, newly, or afresh.

di nuovo

Why is it my word of the week? Allora, it another one of those words that always seems to creep into everyday conversations in Italian. I think it’s best to expand ones vocabulary with words that help you have conversations with people.

Here are some useful phrases

Allora che altro c’è di nuovo – So what else is new

Ancora, di nuovo – Do over again

Dare una seconda occhiata, esaminare di nuovo – Take a second/another look

Grazie di nuovo – Thanks again

Niente di nuovo sotto il sole – Nothing new under the sun

Until next time,

Lorena 🙂
